Valerie Tambaoan is a Los Angeles-based singer, vocal coach, conductor, and accompanist.

Valerie Tambaoan grew up in a musical family.

Music was a daily part of her childhood, singing and playing the piano with her family and at church. By the age of 12, Valerie began accompanying on the piano professionally for different performers, churches, and weddings.

She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Music degree in Music Education from Boston University. She has been a vocal coach for all ages, including professional artists, for almost 20 years.

With excellent sight-reading skills and the ability to change her voice to sing many different styles, Valerie is a sought-out session singer, performing for various composers, recording artists, TV shows, and films. Her voice can also be heard on numerous albums and soundtracks. Valerie is a good-standing member of SAG-AFTRA and The Recording Academy.

She has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and the Boston Pops Orchestra, among many others. Valerie is also a member of some of the most prestigious choral ensembles in the Southern California area, including the Los Angeles Master Chorale and LA Choral Lab.

In her spare time, Valerie enjoys gardening, crafting projects, board games, and spending time with her husband and three kids.
